Snow Beast
is an all around
great guy that will always be there to back you up. Though he can be
competitive at times, he understands that humans are naturally social
animals, and he'll never leave you hangin' when you offer up a
high five. If you're not the high-fivin' type, he's okay with that. |
 |
Mark Sleebes
is half-dog,
half-cat (with a little bit of alpaca thrown in). A former biker, Mark
gave up his Easy Rider lifestyle to stay at the Ghost House with Snow
Beast and Kasey. He used to play guitar in the band Ancient Beach. He's
grizzled and gruff, but as sweet as a
puppy/kitten. |
 |
Kasey Tang
is hard at work on her second graphic novel. Snow Beast is pretty sure
she only gets three hours of sleep a night, but she'll never admit it
if you ask her. Mark is teaching her how to get by on a dollar a day
and in exchange she is teaching him how to do cartwheels. |
 |
Star Beast
was
born of the
astral plane. She is as mysterious as she is beautiful. Her mustache
hair was once prized as a medicinal tea by the ancient Shuar people of
Ecuador. She is lactose intolerant. This is all that is known about her. |
 |
Westby
rents out the attic of
the Ghost House. Once bent on ruling the globe, he left the smarmy
world of nemesisory and now works from home as a medical
transcriptionist. He is also a part-time mustache consultant. Often, he
can be found challenging the Showbeast gang to a sneaky duel. He has
delusions of grandeur. |
 |
The Neighbors
assist Westby in
his fiendish endeavors. Masked, armed, and skilled musicians, they form
a team that few would challenge. Foolishly, Snow Beast challenged them
once to a séance. He thought he was hot stuff when he
summoned Jimi, when he wailed on some wicked ghost guitar solos with
his idol. But those tricky Neighbors summoned their own spirits and
performed a three act rock opera with their ghostly counterparts. Snow
Beast and Jimi conceded defeat, forking over their guitars. Neither
have played since. |

Snow Derrick
is the guitarist
of Ancient Beach: Snow Beast's cousin can often be seen with his mouth
hanging open and his eyebrows raised. Most things surprise him, but not
enough for him to do much about it. All of his songs are inspired by
dreams, and all of his dreams involve dogs. |
 |
Jane Plearn
is the bassist of
Ancient Beach: Snow Derrick met Jane while sleepwalking one night.
Stumbling into a music club where Jane was performing, he thought she
was a greyhound. They've been best friends ever since. |
 |
Polter Drewst,
the landlord of
the Ghost House, is a ghost that
spends a lot of his time poring over the Wall Street Journal. He is
rarely seen without a mug of fresh coffee. He's always willing to give
you financial advice and sing a song about the working class in China.
Drewst has lived in the Ghost House longer than anyone but can not
remember much before he died. |

Dr. Keith
warns children about
the impending Apocalypse and offers ideas for how we can survive.
Unfortunately, his solutions are often impractical. |
